Oh-oh....watch out!!! California license plate!! Part of our famous "six pack" came out for a visit over Labor Day! Hello, Larry and Karla.
We had a great time with them. Friday night, Steve made a noodle casserole (with meat!) for them for dinner along with a big salad. Saturday, he cooked a bacon, egg and tater tots breakfast for them. I managed to get in some cut-up fresh fruit and yogurt....I have to eat some time, you know....all that meat floating around had me worried!! NOT! Anyway, after breakfast, Saturday, we drove out to Prescott. Larry and Karla wanted to get a feel for the area and wanted to look at some houses for sale. Of course, you know we would be thrilled if they moved out this way....OMG, it would be heavenly. But, we need to see what Spirit has in mind. So, we drove around quite a bit. Ate snacks in the car and came back home and had dinner at Hiros. THEIR TREAT....thank you, guys! Then, Sunday, we all went to church and listened to the guest speaker, Terry McBride. I just love him. Anyway, Larry was feeling a little under the weather so we came home after church and just hung around talking until early evening. We headed out to take care of our Del Taco craving. Yummy. They were packed up, including go cups with hot coffee, and on the road by 8 AM Monday morning. I felt so sad watching them pull out but we never say goodbye....just "see you soon!" Love you guys!! Thanks for a wonderful visit!!
